Basic Knowledge About Graphic Card ( Nvdia Series/Laptop)

Hi, readers you all might be confuse with which graphic card that are better.

Here is simple method to identity which Nvdia graphic card is better.

1st :  Nvdia Series ! 

Currently the Lastest would be the 700 Series (June 2013)

Which means your graphic card model will be on 

GT720m, GT730m and so on.

So if you saw those laptop that comes with 600 series, make sure you didn't pick up one of them.

It means old stock. Most of new batch laptop already comes with the latest one, they won't downgrade it back to old series.

For exp : 

2nd : Nvidia Model Number !

The higher the Number, The better the Graphic Card. 

GeForce GTX 780M (new!)

GeForce GTX 770M (new!)

GeForce GTX 765M (new!)

GeForce GTX 760M (new!)

GeForce GT 750M

GeForce GT 745M

GeForce GT 740M

GeForce GT 735M

GeForce GT 730M

GeForce GT 720M

So you can see the GTX 780m Is the Highest. It will be the best and of course it will be pricey too.

Meaning of the Alphabet on the Model ! 

X = means High-end grade. It's expensive and mostly for hardcore Gaming laptop.

M = means Mobile. It's normal to see a "M" alphabet on the laptop graphic model. So it just telling you

        that this is for laptop model only.

For moderate user or gamer ... 

GT730M is great enough for you to play games. So you don't have to spend more on buying gaming specs unless your budget is enough ! 

The difference between 600M series and 700M series is the Architecture and it's speed. 

From 600M to 700M, 700M it boost more in speed !
